Components Of Your Anti-aging Code

Anti-aging codes

Your anti-aging code at Juvanni include:

1. Botox: Botox is a muscle relaxer that allows your doctor to help your facial muscles contract less intensely, thereby preventing the skin from forming creases that get permanently etched into it.

The dose of Botox is measured in units. Determining the right dose for your face is the responsibility of your Botox injector. In the U.S., there are currently four FDA-approved Botox clones, each prepared in different dilutions. Before getting overwhelmed with the calculations of different brands, I advise my clients to start with minimalistic doses.

2. HA filler: This is another medication injected into areas of the face where fat pads diminish due to aging, leading to hollows and skin laxity, such as around the mouth or under the eyes. The dose of HA is often calculated by the vial the filler comes in. However, I disagree with this method. Given that there are currently over 21 different fillers approved in the U.S. with varying concentrations, I prefer to calculate based on the number of milligrams used. This helps ensure you don’t look overfilled or distorted.

3. Your anti-aging regimen isn't complete without an intravenous infusion of vitamins and minerals for your skin and hair! The dosages and frequency of these treatments depend on both your chronological age and your "skin age."

At certain points in your life, you might also consider adding skin-tightening machines to your routine, especially as you approach your later decades.

Remember, the medications used for beauty preservation play a significant role in your anti-aging regimen. If they're improperly administered or overdosed, they can distort your perception of self, thereby potentially impacting your long-term well-being and mental health in a negative way.

As always, I welcome your feedback and questions. Please feel free to call or text at 914-368-6609.
